a very relevant thought Manan and a huge area of interest for me too. This is what research tells us on space, creative thinking and collaboration key tenets of intrapreneuring 1. Our mental space stands in direct proportion to our perception of physical space. The more expansive our sense of surrounding space, the more prone we are to generating useful and original concepts for new products and services. 2. One of the challenges for companies as they seek to encourage collaboration is how to balance “me” vs. “we” space in the workplace. There are various design options for generating huddles, brainstorming, casual conversations, open workspaces etc. a lot is also determined by the culture a company wants to set and building intrapreneurship and innovative behaviours dose require spaces to be remodelled

Thank you for sharing those insights, that helped me. With that understanding, I can only imagine how challenging perpetual work from home setups may be for building intrapreneurship.

Yes individuals need to invest to make their home spaces conducive for creative thinking with colour, ceiling height, outside views etc. but for collaboration etc unfortunately virtual engagement is limiting but hybrid approaches to home working and people engagement can still enable the desired outcome. Nevertheless it’s an investment at an individual level given that in India generally people don’t have the desired space.
